ALT Linux provides full access to PSPO's SDK

ALT Linux has published Software Development Kit which was used to create school Linux distributions.

Now any developer can rebuild, improve and use a set of Linux distributions that are deployed during PSPO pilot project in Russian schools in 2008.

The SDK is available at ftp://ftp.linux.armd.ru/build/ and contains: build environment, CD with scripts and build instructions. The full set includes 7 DVD and 1 CD.

Official shipping of PSPO packages to schools is done by Federal Education Agency (Ministry of Education and Science).

ALT Linux continues to improve its products and provide technical support.

Using this SDK you can have full build environment to create the following distributions:

  •  Linux Lite
  •  Linux Junior
  •  Linux Master
  •  Linux Terminal
  •  Linux Lite Live CD
  •  Linux Junior Live DVD
